HELMSTEDT was founded in 2018 by Emilie Helmstedt when she was only 25 years old. Growing up in a crafts focused family, Emilie always knew she would become an artist, and pursued that passion all throughout her life and at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen 

HELMSTEDT works at the intersection between art and fashion. The artistic approach to designing is not only manifested in clothing, but broadens into sculptures, poems, art and storytelling, creating entire universes for people to enter and be a part of. 

HELMSTEDT believes in taking the time to refine and perfect each detail that goes into creating their collections, as well as allowing its team to take the time lost in the context of fast fashion and overconsumption.
